Abstract
In this work, a new synthesized Cr(III) carbon paste ion selective electrodes based on incorporation of o-benzoyl benzoic acid(o-BBA), as an ionophore, have been constructed.This electrode was successfully applied for the determination of Cr(III) ions in pure form, industrial waste water ,pharmaceutical samples and for potentiometric titration of Cr(III) against EDTA solution.The results agreed well with ICP method.The proposed electrodes showed fairly good discrimination of chromium(III) from other cations
