Abstract Pneumatization of maxillary sinus with resorption of its underling alveolar ridge and decrease in bone quality in upper posterior region are considered the main problems during restoration of missing upper molars using dental implants. Different treatment modalities for reconstruction of upper posterior region have been used with variable degree of success. Sinus lift procedure either open or closed technique are consider the most suitable methods.The present study was conducted to evaluate the primary stability of implant in closed sinus lifting cases by densah bur in comparison to osteotome using Ostell based on concept of resonance frequency analysis |
