The study aimed to: build a proposed strategy to implement some contemporary mechanisms that support the realization of the principle of equal opportunities in basic education; This is in light of the results of the environmental analysis of the reality of equal educational opportunities in basic education schools in Egypt, as well as in the light of the opinion poll of education experts in Egypt about these mechanisms and the possibility of benefiting from them in Egypt.
The study used the descriptive approach; The study presented two theoretical chapters, the second chapter on the intellectual and conceptual framework of the principle of equal educational opportunities, and the third chapter on the most important contemporary mechanisms that can support equal educational opportunities in basic education.
In the fourth and fifth chapters, the study presented the procedures and results of the field study. In the field study, a quadrant analysis form (SWOT model) was used, which was applied to a sample of principals, agents and teachers of basic education schools in Egypt. In order to analyze the internal and external environment of those schools, and determine the extent of their support for equal educational opportunities in them. The study also used a questionnaire that was applied to a sample of education experts in Egypt (faculties of education professors, educational leaders and directors of equal educational opportunities units in educational directorates and departments.
In the sixth chapter, the study presented the features of a proposed strategic plan to implement some contemporary mechanisms that support the achievement of the principle of equal educational opportunities. It included a detailed implementation plan for implementing these mechanisms in Egypt. The study included several recommendations for the success of the proposed strategy. It included several recommendations, the most important of which are: activating the laws of accounting in education in a good way for the student, the teacher, and the school administration. The study also recommends giving the school administration greater powers with regard to developing the educational process in them, and working to link education with the labor market because of its significant impact on improving educational performance within schools, and rapidly improving the economic and social conditions of teachers, because they are the main support for the success of any attempt to develop education.
