Abstract Endovascular treatment with angioplasty or stenting for central venous stenosis is an effective and safe method, with low rates of technical failure without significant morbidity or mortality. In spite of that, the patients may develop restenosis or occlusion later on that may require multiple interventions to maintain patency .Avoiding and minimizing the placement of the central venous catheter maybe the key point for prevention through appropriate planning of creation of AVFs in predialytic patients |
