Abstract This study aims to evaluate the phytochemical constitute of DSSE and DSLE by quantitative phytochemical and GC-MS analysis. Furthermore, is to determine both of in vitro and in vivo anticancer efficiency of DSSE and DSLE and their protective effect after treatment of EAC-bearing mice with Cis. D. stramonium seeds and leaves were collected from Kom Hamada city farms located in El-behira governorate (Egypt). Leaves and seeds transferred to the Department of Zoology, Faculty of Science, Tanta University. The plant constitutes were identified and approved in the Botany Department, Faculty of Science, Tanta University, these parts were dried under shade, then crushed in a mortar and the powder kept in suitable place for further studies. 50 g of each was added to 500 ml of 70% ethanol and left for 3 days to get DSSE and DSLE. Finally, the supernatants were filtered and left to dry to get the hydro-alcohol extract. The extracts were kept at 4 ºC for further studies. |
