To identify the effect of using the mental maps strategy for the theoretical course (Physical Education Lesson) on the cognitive achievement of the second year middle school students
The community of this research is represented by female pupils (second grade) of middle school in the large prep school for girls affiliated to the Qaleen Department of Education in Kafr El-Sheikh for the academic year (2020 AD / 2021 AD) and their number is (205 students). With a percentage of (19.5%) of the total research community, it was divided into two groups (the control group, which included (20 students) to whom the traditional educational units were applied and the experimental group, and it included on (20 students) applied to them the proposed educational units using the mental maps under study).
The researcher concluded:
- The method of mental maps used in the physical education lesson has an effective effect on providing students with some cognitive aspects within the experimental group.
- The experimental group that used the mind maps method was superior to the control group, which indicates the effectiveness of the mind mapping method and its effect on the learning of female students in the second grade of middle school (girls).
