Abstract
Being a safe, simple and repeatable test without radiation exposure to the patient, it is
worthy of being included in the routine diagnostic workup. Elastography with
ultrasonography is a quick and easy method of obtaining additional information to
differentiate benign versus malignant etiology when assessing thyroid nodules. It also
helps in the choice of the nodule (s) for Biopsy and reduces the number of Biopsy procedures.
