Scientific research occupies a prominent position in the progress and development of nations, and because adherence to ethical values is an imperative that every human must possess. Therefore, the researcher must adhere to research ethics. This study focused theoretically on introducing the ethics of scientific research and highlighting the ethical standards that research must adhere to, Focusing on the role of research institutions in this and ensuring the existence of a monitoring tool to monitor compliance with that standards. As for the practical part of the study, it dealt with identifying the reality of researchers ’commitment at Benha University to the ethics of scientific research from the viewpoint of their professors, members of the university’s faculty, and the study reached a set of results, the most important of which are: -- The percentage of researchers’ commitment to ethical standards for scientific research is average . There were no statistically significant differences on the overall tool of study due to gender, academic rank, or specialization. The reasons for researchers’ failure to adhere to the ethics of scientific research are due to educational deficiencies and improper scientific formation, the lack of capabilities to devote researchers to scientific research and the absence of religious faith. In light of the results of the study, the researcher recommended the following: Spreading a culture of ethics of scientific research.
