Abstract Ischemic stroke is one of the major causes of death and disability. For the last few decades, many efforts have been made to improve the outcome of acute ischemic stroke treatment. However, thrombolytic therapy is still theonly proven treatment for patients following an acute ischemic stroke within 3 or 4.5 hours of symptom onset Diagnosis of stroke largely depends on clinical presentation.
