Abstract Satisfaction and loyalty are now identified as a major Issue in the hospitality industry. This study aims to dennine factors affecting senior citizens satisfaction and loyalty in five-star hotels in Egypt. To achieve this aim, this study employed a selfadministered questionnaire as the data collection instrument. The questionnaire was divided into two parts. Part one included demographic data and part two included four sections: (1 ) servicescape, (2) servequal, (3) •socialscape and (4) satisfaction & loyalty. The SPSS program version 20 was used to perform descriptive analysis, one way analysis of variance (ANOV A) and Post Hoc (Tucky Test HSD) to detennine the variance between seniors and other age categories in hotels. Pearson One Moment Correlation was used to determine the relationships between factors. The multible regression was used to know effects of independent variables (servicescape, servequal and socialscape) on depedent variables (loyalty and satisfaction). The sobel z test was used to identify the role of mediating factor. The findings reflected the factors affecting senior citizens satisfaction and loyalty in five star hotels and the differences between seniors and other ages. There was a significant difference between elderly and other ages in relation to sevicescape spatial conditional design, servicescape spatial conditional layout, servicescape spatial conditional color and servicescape ambient music. There was a significant difference between elderly and other ages in relation to servequal reliability, servequal empathy, servequal responsiveness and servequal assurance. There was a significant difference between elderly and other ages in relation to socialscape social mass. |
