Organizational support has a vital role in support employees and decreases stressors from work-related tasks. Aim: The study aimed to assess team-building strategies and organizational support among nurses at Port Said hospitals. Setting: the study was carried at all seven hospitals affiliated to the Ministry of Health at Port Said city. Design: A descriptive correlation design was utilized. Sample: Were 269 staff nurses. Data collection tools; Team building strategies questionnaire and perceived organizational support questionnaire. Results: The total mean score of team-building strategies was 40.57±1.98 and the total mean score of organizational support was 32.69±1.46. Conclusion: There was no statistically significant association between team building and organizational support. Recommendations: Hospital management should conduct educational training programs regarding multidisciplinary teamworkbuilding strategies and organizational support. |
