المستخلص The means of social media are the language of the modern era and the means of open dialogue without restrictions or boundaries between individuals, these Social media have many benefits and many damages, The aim of this study is to identify the reasons for the Utilization by youth of the social media and the implications of this use in rural Assiut governorate. through a main objective is to identify the reasons for the use of rural youth social media, And sub-objectives derived from it, to identify the most social media used for communication Utilization among the respondents, to identify the degree of confidence of respondents in the social media, to identify the knowledge of users to protect privacy in the means used, to Identify the positive and negative effects of the use of respondents to the of social media, to Identification of social media is a reliable source in the information obtained by the respondents, to Identify the contribution of social media in the formation of awareness among respondents, to Identify the suggestions of the respondents on how to benefit from the social media, the Data has been collected through a questionnaire form distributed to a sample of (357) individual, Statistical descriptive methods have been used, the important findings of the study indicate to the most important reasons for respondents to use the social media is entertainment and entertainment by 99.4%, the most popular social media tool Utilization by respondents is Facebook, which is 82.6%, the degree of confidence of respondents in the social media was highly confident by 44.0%, Lack of knowledge of respondents to protect privacy on the social media got the highest percentage, which amounted to 61.6%, the most positive effects of the use of respondents to the social media is entertainment and entertainment by 99.8%, the most important negative effects of the use of respondents to the social media is that they cause wasting time by 89.4%, the confidence of the respondents in the information they get from the social media was yes, they trust the highest percentage, reaching 77.9%, the respondents’ view that the social media is awareness in the field of religion has reached the highest percentage, reaching 71.4%, the most important proposal for respondents to use the social media is to use in helping others by 90.2%. |
