The research aims at creating designs inspired by the outfit ancient Egyptian and conducting prints through using different printing techniques. It also aims at combining more than one style of printing in a single art work.
Chapter One: Research Proposal
This chapter includes introduction; research problem; its aims; significance; hypotheses; delimitations; terminologies and the previous studies related to the research.
Chapter Two: History of Art and Supplements Outfit Ancient Egyptian civilization
This chapter deals with an introduction to recognize the civilization, its stages, the definition of ancient Egyptian art and its origin. It also focuses on the types of ancient Egyptian art, its characteristics and the factors affecting it. In addition, this chapter deals with the supplements of ancient Egyptian costume, its definition , classification , brief history about it and the principles of designing the ancient Egyptian costume.
Chapter Three: The Role of Computer in the Field of Art, Printing Textiles, and printing methods.
This chapter deals with the role of computers in designing textile printing and using Photoshop program in making the designs. It also deals with the printing methods used in implementing and printing pendants and their features as a technique such as (batik, fingerprint, stencil, knots and combining, silk screen, thermal blocking, digital printing ) and combine these methods with each other through presenting samples of the researcher’s work for each method.
Chapter Four:The Experiment
The researcher presented in this chapter the basic units used in conducting the innovative designs, which is a collection of the old Egyptian costume and presenting the technical analysis for each of them. The number of these innovative designs is (25) Design and the technical analysis for each design were presented(66). In addition, the proposed implementation for each design was presented and the basic units of the non-executed design group and its technical analysis were also presented. Then the innovative designs and the proposed implementation were presented using Photoshop CS60.
Chapter Five: Results and Recommendations
This chapter deals with presenting the results of theoretical and practical parts and recommendations.
