Abstract Today, the concern for improving quality of teaching-learning process is significant since this is a mechanism through which the content and intent of curriculum is transacted higher education level. Aim: study aimed to assess the quality of the educational process in technical health institute and technical institute of nursing in port- said city. Methods: A descriptive study was utilized with a sample of 145 nursing students,12 Clinical instructor and 16 teaching staff in both institutes, two tools of data collection were included ;Assess the quality of the educational process questionnaire sheet, and quality of the educational process observational checklist. Results: the nursing students were satisfied with institution`s structures, teacher’s and clinical instructor’s performance in both institutes, moreover 42.0 % of nursing students were unsatisfied with the academic book in technical health institute .while, 50.0% of nursing students were highly satisfied with the quality of the academic book in the technical institute of nursing. Conclusion: the both institutes had the quality of the educational process with different ratio according to students’ opinion and researcher`s observation. Recommendations: Managers and policy makers should enhance physical facilities, interactive education, design of new curricula, use of modern technology, teachers and trainers must be developed with changing needs to allow the educational process to be carried out easily. |
