Abstract

This in vitro study was carried out to assess the surface microhardness of three different flowable composite (Ormocer, highly filled and conventional flowable composites) before and after erosion and/or abrasion challenge. A total of 120 flowable composite discs were prepared and cured according to the manufacturers’ instruction then finished and polished using 3M soflex discs. They were divided to 3 main groups according to the composite type, each of 40 discs. Then, each main group was subdivided into 5 subgroups of 8 discs according to challenge.
