المستخلص
This research deals with the issue of increasing greenhouse gas emissions and their impacts on the urban environment. Some negative urban effects that was resulted from the phenomenon of the increasing greenhouse gas emissions in the cities; which is represented in the sinking of many coastal areas because of the increasing ground temperatures above the natural levels that leads to
melting of the ice causing sea level rise. The impact on the local economic movement including, agricultural production, fish production, tourism, and the industrial movement. However, Egypt is one of the countries that would be affected by climate change, especially in coastal areas affected
by sea-level rise. That is why some countries have begun to reduce their emissions or adapt to address the damage caused by this phenomenon. Therefore, this research seeks to find mechanisms to deal with the negative effects of this phenomenon and mitigation through the urban system.
