Abstract

Synthetic pyrethroids account for more than 30% of insecticide use worldwide in household and agricultural application. Exposure to these chemicals was accompanied with several toxicities.
Deltamethrin is a pyrethroid insecticide used to eradicate external parasites on farm animals. Residues of this pesticide were shown to be present in food from animal and plant origin. Deltamethrin is a toxic chemical pesticide that produced significant reproductive toxicity.
Chlorella has a super food connotation because of its well-balanced ratios of proteins, nutrients, vitamins, and minerals. Chlorella is about two-thirds protein and approximately one-eighth Chlorella Growth Factor (CGF). CGF is exclusive to Chlorella and not readily found in other vitamins or foods.
Chlorella contains several antioxidants, including vitamins C and E, lutein, alpha and beta-carotene. Antioxidants protect the body against deleterious effect of deltamethrin
Little studies have been performed about the use of natural products for prevention of such toxicity and mechanism of their ameliorative action. Therefore, the current study was planned to evaluate the effect of C. vulgaris on function of the male reproductive tract and the probable antagonistic effect of C. vulgaris against.
