Abstract
The aim of this study was to retrospectively analyze preoperative
radiological data, preoperative pathologic data, the surgical management,
histopathology, and correlate it with postoperative complications for all cases of
parotid tumors treated in National Cancer Institute - Cairo from 2007 till
November 2014.
The main focus was the analysis of the type and adequacy of surgery in relation to
the pathology of the tumor, preoperative relevance of radiological and pathologic
data, and the factors affecting postoperative complications.
