Abstract Regional anesthesia techniques are important for anesthesiologist. The widely accepted mechanism of all-inclusive anesthetic care is the peripheral neural blockade. Regional anesthesia is a recommended technique for upper and lower limb surgeries with better postoperative profile. (68) Peripheral nerve block such as brachial plexus is an indispensable technique commonly employed for upper limb surgeries. Brachial plexus forms the multipurpose and dependable local anesthetic technique. (68) The supraclavicular route of brachial plexus blockade provides anaesthesia of the whole upper extremity in the most constant, timeeffective manner of the various brachial plexus technique that blocks the roots of brachial plexus. (75) Ultrasound guided supraclavicular block is the mainstay of our regional anaesthesia practice for upper limb surgical procedures at or below the elbow. Ultrasound-guided needle placement may reduce the risk of complications and increase the accuracy of block particularly in pediatric patients. (76). |
