Abstract Cesarean sections are the most frequent major surgery in the world with estmiated 18.5 million procedures being performed each year. Cesarean delivery has been associated with deacreased breastfeeding. Natural cesarean section is described for staightforward elective cesareans in healthy women with non-compromised singleton fetuses at term. The results of this randomized clinical trial demonstrated early starting of breastfeeding, increase woman and husband satisfaction, reduction in the incidence of neonatal resusitation, reduction in the lenght of hospital stay and postoperative pain; when natural cesarean technique was done. |
