Abstract Authentication in cloud computing requires a systemic view because the security will be constructed along a faraway. Authentication is a very important issue that refers to determine if the individual is the legal person who accesses to his rented portion. In this thesis, dynamic keystroke as a biometric authentication technique applied to cloud computing technology has been suggested. The paper, “User Authentication through Keystroke Dynamics” by Bergadano et al. [15] concerned with keystroke technique and its procedures to distinguish the true user was discussed in details. An implementation of Bergadano et al. [15] method for measuring the distance between the user profiles and each new access to the system. The proposed algorithm has been synthesized, simulated and implemented in the Xilinx Spartan-3E FPGA using VHDL with Xilinx tool ISE Web Pack 9.2i and achieves a time 6.950 ns. This thesis tries to proof that dynamic keystroke as a biometrics algorithms can be implemented in hardware. The algorithm calculation optimized in order to reduce and overcomes the problem of floating point number. It demonstrates that the operations can be performed with integer numbers without any significant changes in the obtained details. The following contributions have been achieved: 1. JavaScript software is created to capture the user keystroke samples and the results are each digraph of the user password with its duration times then sorting them ascending according to its duration times and these outputs give to the Xilinx ISE 9.2i software. |
