Abstract

The present study dealt with the different physical parameters for some electrolytes and their complexes in different solutions like association constant, formation constants and thermodynamic parameters. The obtained results can be summarized as follow : Transmission electron microscopy (TEM) study showed the particle size of nano nickel sulphate is in the range of (4.75-7.47) nm, the particle size of nano cobalt sulphate is in the range of (4.25-12.6) nm and particle size of nano copper sulphate is in the range of (3.86-8). It was observed that all the association parameters and formation parameters are bigger in using bulk nickel sulphate than nano one. Complex formation parameters for both bulk and nano nickel sulphate in presence of H2L1 and H2L2 is greeter in case of (1:1) (M/L) than (1:2) (M/L) complexes. Association parameters and formation parameters for both bulk and nano nickel sulphate in presence of H2L1 and H2L2 is greeter in case of using 5 % DMF ((EtOH-H2O)(70-30)). Association parameters are bigger in using nano cobalt sulphate than bulk one. Association parameters for cobalt sulphate with the used ligands is greeter in case of using 5 % DMSO ((EtOH-H2O)(70-30)) Association parameters are bigger in using bulk copper sulphate than nano one. Association parameters for copper sulphate with the used ligands is greeter in case of using 5 % DMF ((EtOH-H2O)(70-30)) Solid complexes of nickel sulphate, cobalt sulphate and copper sulohate with H2L1 and H2L2 were formed. Gibbs free energies of nickel sulphate,cobalt sulphate and copper sulphate were measured theoretically.
