Abstract

Introduction: The present study was done to evaluate the influential level of upper anterior teeth length variation on the perception of esthetics and to find out whether this perception was affected by occupation, age, gender or marital status of the raters.Methods:10 male and 10 female photos were captured, cropped and rated to select the most attractive male and female photo. Five views were constructed for each image with variable lengths of the upper anterior teeth; those 10 views were judged by 10 orthodontists, 10 laypersons and 10 dentist judges to select the most attractive male and female image.
