Abstract In this study, a total of (300) marine fishes of three different species that were represented as: Sparus aurata, Siganus rivulatus, and Tilapia zillii randomly collected from Lake Temsah at Ismailia governorate from May 2012 to April 2013. The clinical picture of the diseased fishes, was recorded as 108 fishes were found to be infected with Vialginolyticus, as Gram negative, short rod bacilli as comma shaped and motile bacteria .. Sparus auratus was the most infected fish spp (46), followed by Tilapia zillii (34), while Siganus rivulatus was the lowest infection (28). The results indicated that, the highest total prevalence of vibriosis among the naturally infected marine fishes was recorded in the summer season (56%), followed by spring (48%), then autumn (26.67%), while the minimal prevalence of infection was recorded in winter (13.33%). Estimation of iron in water of Lake Temsah was from 2 different locations respecti vel y ill summer season5.8±1.4, 5.5±1.09 in spring 4.3±1.6, 4.2±1.3 ill winter 0.46±0.02, 0.50±0.10 in aurumn5.3±1.l9, 5.07±0.5. In tissues, iron decreased in diseased fishes and that showed in liver, spleen, kidney and ill musculature ill the 3 different fish species. histopathological studies of naturally infected marine fishes showed severe inflammatory reactions in different organs with accumulation of melanomacrophages and necrosis. |
