Objectives of the Study : This study aimed at:
1 - To identify the current status of science education for the visually
disabled students in the first year preparatory.
2 - Preparation and testing of a proposed program for the development of collection and leans towards a science subject for the visually disabled students.
Group of the Study: The sample of the study consisted of (18) pupils first year preparatory school for the blind light Assiut
Materials and Tools of the Study :Tools of the study included a proposed program of science education includes teacher’s guide and student handbook, and an achievement test, and measure trends in the science subject for the visually disabled students in the first year preparatory.
Results of the Study: The present study reached the following results:
1 - there is a difference statistically significant at the level of 0.01 between the mean scores of experimental group in the post application and tribal in-collection as a whole, and levels of memory, understanding and application individually to the benefit of the post
2 - there is a difference statistically significant at the level of 0.01 between the mean scores of experimental group in the post application of the measure and tribal tendencies toward science as a whole, the three dimensions of each measure separately for the benefit of the post.
3 - the effectiveness of the proposed program for teaching science in the development of the collection of the study group and the growth orientation towards science.
4 - The program had considerable impact on the achievement of students with disabilities visually in the first year preparatory.
5 -of the program a significant impact on the growth trend in the science subject for the visually disabled students in the first year preparatory, as well as three dimensions of the scale separately.
