Abstract

HAI part of the H3 gene of EIV was cloned in a mammalian expression vector the recombinant protein was de novo
synthesized both in vitro and in vivo and assayed for expression and immunogenicity using FAT , HI and serum
neutralization test , EIV which was isolated in previous study (Hussein et al. , 2011) was propagated and detected
using FLUDETECT test strip and titrated using HA and egg infectivity titration then identified by two sequential RT - PCR the first targeting internal part of EIV matrix gene while the second is targeting internal identifying part of EIV H3 hemagglutinin which was sequenced and analyzed computationally and found to be related to florida sublineage clade 1 EI viruses in
another study (Ahmed et al . , 2011.
