Abstract
The present study was conducted for the radiodensitometric assessment of the tooth investing structures surrounding the roots of selected mandibular teeth.
In a group of hundred case [50 male (G I) and 50 female (G II)]. They were ranging in age from 18 to 22 years. All cases were chosen to be clinically healthy, of the same socioeconomic level, free from any systemic disease and metabolic or destructive bone disease, no history of medication that can affect bone density and no history of smoking.
For each case, panoramic radiograph was taken using digital panoramic radiograph and assessed radiodensitometrically using an IDRESI software to assess the tooth investing structure bilaterally around mandibular canine, premolars, and molars.
