Abstract

Infertility affect about 10% of people around the world, many cases have simple solution some need advice, other need medical treatment some need surgery but still some cases remain untreated after this original solutions.
Assisted reproductive techniques (ART) are one of the most useful solutions to some cases of infertility, if it not the end and best solution for all other resistant infertility cases after long journey of many treatment.
ART become more and more advanced by the age, many techniques introduced to it {Intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI), Assisted hatching, and Preimplantation genetic diagnosis (PGD)} to make solutions fit for those having resistant infertility.
Many factors contribute to the success rate of ART some contribute to patient other belong to embryo which is the main product of ART.
Embryo transfer is one of the most critical steps and some consider it the main step in the success rate of ART.
By considering good technique, chosing best quality embryos for transfer, appropriate number and time of transfer also choosing best catheter and using ultrasound, we can make a good outlines for perfect embryo transfer which in turn optimize our ART techniques.
But if we consider only embryo and neglect the endometrial receptivity it makes us like seeing the top of the mountain which is appearing at the surface of the earth and neglect the main 2/3 part of the mountain under the earth.
So for the implantation to take place there must be a symphony between embryo and endometrium which have to be receptive by pinpodes ,cytokines and other growth factors to receive this embryo.
