Abstract A number of new triazole derivatives were synthesized. The structures of all of the synthesized compounds were confirmed by their spectral and analytical data; IR, 1 H NMR and mass spectra which all agreed with the assigned structures. The prepared compounds were evaluated for antimicrobial activity against bacteria viz. Streptomyces sp., Bacillus subtilis, Streptococcus lactis, Escherichia coli, and Pseudomonas sp and antifungal activity against various fungi viz. (Aspergillus niger, Penicillium sp) and yeast (Candida albican and Rhodotorula ingeniosa) displaying different degrees of antimicrobial activities. |
