Abstract This study aimed at identifying the critical soulble egg antigen (SEA) components responsible for host sensitization and modulation of granulomatous disease in schistosomiasis mansoni. This will allow the development of strategies in which such antigen can be presented In Vivo For induction of immunological responses and future directions For anti pathology Vaccines. SEA then fractionated by gel filteration chromatography. the optical density of the eluted fractions were determined by the spectrophotometer, then the molecular weight of the three fractions were determined by standard calibration Kit. These fractions are designated as A, B and C. Their mol. wt are 10-15 Kd, 210-450 Kd respectively. alum adjuvant was prepared from Alum. chloride. |
