Abstract we studied probabil istic analysis of some two-unit cold standby redundant systems subject to weather effect from deferent view points. This thesis consists of five chapters, introduction chapter and four chapters discuss deferent model of standby systems. The introduction chapter includes definitions, basic concepts which used in this thesis and literature review of reliability for standby systems. In chapter two, we presented probabilistic analysis of two-unit cold standby system abnormal weather and two type of failure, partial and total failure. Deferent reliability measures are derived and illustrated by numerical example. In chapter three, we studied reliability of a two-unit cold standby redundant system subject to weather affect, partial failure and mixture lifetime distribution is considered. Various measures of reliability are calculated and numerical example is given to illustrate the theoretical results. In chapter four, we discussed stochastic behavior of a two-unit cold standby redundant system subject to weather effect, arbitrary partial failure and mixture as a life time distribution. Also we give numerical example to explain the reliability measures. Chapter five is devoted to study stochastic behavior of two-unit cold standby redundant system with expert repair man, normal repair man and abnormal weather. To illustrate the theoretical results, we give numerical example. |
