Abstract Introduction: School violence and aggression have become an increasing concern to public health professionals, clinicians, policy makers, educators, and the general public. It is a multifaceted problem with biological, psychological, social and environmental roots. This problem may have serious developmental, physical, and mental health consequences for the affected individuals. It also has extending effects on families, schools, and communities. Single-focus interventions are unlikely to be effective because antisocial behavior emerges from a complex array of risk factors. Aim: to study the problem of aggressive behavior and violence related behavior and to explore the associated risk factors among school students. Conclusion: the problem of school aggression and violence were frequent and increasing problem that threatened and influence the students in schools due to its high prevalence. Recommendations: 1- Health education of the students through providing information on the risk of adolescents being involved in a violent act. 2- Health education of the parents to avoide the use of violence in real life. 3- There should be further researches concerning the topic of violence in Egypt. |
