This study trios to ovoluato land reform as an agricultural policy In Beni.-Suef governoriite.
Such evaluation depends on how fur did land reforni succeed in aproving the productivity of land which was distributed on small farms.
A raidom sample of 209 farmers of land reform fame, anti 191 farmers of cc—operative credit farms was taken to represent the Whole goveimorate,
The study used tho following three assumptions:
1— Land reform farms prothice in the economical stage.
2— The use of resources in the 1cnd reform farmrs i more efficient than its ue in oo—operative credit farina.
3— Agricultural proleme from which farmers in land reform farms suffer are different from those in Do—operative credit farms.
As far as the first assumption is concerned the wtudy found that productiozt in land reform ;arms as well as cooperative credit farms did not reach the economical staae,
