Abstract Health Care Workers Constitute An Important Risk Group Which Is Eposed To Blood And Other Body Fluids In The Course Of Their Work, Occupatioal Exposure ToBlood Can Result from Percutanecous Injury As Needle-Atick Or Other Sharps Injuries, Mucocutaneous Injuries As Splash Of Blood Or Other Body Fluidsinto The Eyes, Nose, Mouth Or Blood Contact With Non-Intact Skin. These Prevntable Injuries Epose Workers To Over 20 Different Blood-Bome Pathogens. The Aim Of The Study Is To Improve Health And Safety Of All Health Care Workers At Zagazig Univercity Hospitals And To Protect Them from The Harmful Effects Of Blood Bome Pathogens. |
