Abstract SUL1MARY This wont aimed study of the different appects of wounds and wound healing processes in oamela he experimental part was done on eight mature, healthy camels kept under the same oiroutanoes and classified into two roupe; In the first one, four oamels were inoluded for studying the histopatholo— ical and bioohemical ohange that takes place in the various stages of primary healing of aurica1 wounds. The second group was intended for studying some of the mechanical properties ot the primary healed wounds. The results in this part revealed early epIthelization anc hyperactivity in granulation tissue formation. The gapof the wound was completely occupied, by mature fibrous tissue at its depth and granulation tisawa invaded by sozue collagen fibers at its upper part underneath the regenerated epide-. rmis at the 6th post—operative day. At the same time, the reaction of acid muoopolysaccharides increased radual1y from the 2 day to reach its peak at the 6th day and began to decrease at the 8 day. The |
