Abstract
A total numbers of 120 Shrimp specimens of different body weights
of Penaeus japonicas(25), Penaeus semisulcatus(25), Penaeus
kerathurus(25), Parapenaeus longirostris(15), Metapenaeus
monoceros(15) and Irachy penaeus(15) were collected seasonally(August
2006-August2007) from Mediterranean Sea and Red Sea from different
geographical areas (Alexandria, Damietta, Port Said, and Suez). Some
specimens seem to have a white spots by naked eye covering the carapace
of the shrimp and the cuticles.
These collected shrimp specimens were transferred to the laboratory
of Central Laboratory for Aquaculture Research Abbassa (CLAR) Sharika,
Egypt.
