Abstract This Study Was Done On 180Pancreata from Albino Rats Of Sprague-Dawley Strain Of Both Sexes. 30Animals Were Adults ( 60 Days Old ) While The Remaining 150animals were divided Into five Groups Eash Consisted Of 30 Animals Of 1,7,14,21 and 28 days Old respectively. animal body weight, Panceratic Weight, with Calulation Of their Mean and Standard Devition were Done in all the studied age Groups. there is a Dissociction IOn The Rate Of Growth Between the Endocrine And Exocrine tissues Of the Pancereas In accordance Of Body Needs for Endocrine hormones And Exocrine Enzymes In Postnatal Developmental Periods. the rate Of growth of The Wwigh of The Pancreas Exceeded That of the Body Weigh inThe 1st week after Birth, After This Ago The Rate Of Growth Of The Body Weigh Was More Than That of Pancreatic Weigh until Age Of 28 days, While At This age Onwards both Body And Pancreas Weigh Was Propotionate . |
