Abstract The aim of this work is to study the relationship between hyperprolactinemia and the chromosomes and to estimate the frequency of satellite associations in hyperprolactinemic disorders before and after bromocrtiptine treatment. Conclusion: The present study demonstrates that the satellite association frequencies were higher in hyperprolactinemic states and were markedly reduced after bromocriptine treatment. Bromocriptine is valuable and highly effective in treatment of hyperprolactinemic galactorrheic conditions. However, further study of hyperprolactinemic disorders on wide scale is needed to confirm the effects of these disorders upon the human chromosomal pattern. |
