Abstract The aim of this work is to determine: 1-The occurrence of humeral immune response. 2-the occurrence of local immunity (corneal protection) after experimental inoculation of rabbits (skin or corneal by hsv type). The influence of previous inoculation with hsv on that susceptibility of rabbits to corneal inoculation of the virus was studied and the humeral immune response was assayed after skin and inoculation by determining the level of different immunoglobulin in serum. The following conclusions were down: Both skin and corneal inoculation gave detectable humeral immune response. There was a corneal protection against heroes simplex after previous skin and corneal inoculation. The speed of healing of corneal ulcer by trifluorothy midline is greater in rabbits previously inoculated than in those which were not previously inoculated. |
