Abstract
The Field Bioinformatics Is Fast Growing With Research In Various Related Topics. These Topics Are Relevant To Both Genomics And Proteomics. In Genomics Project, Gene Finding, And Gene Classification Are The Most Important Problems. On The Other Hand, Protein Structure Prediction, And Protein Family Modelling Are Holy Gray Areas For Research In Protecomics Project. In Our Thesis, We Used The Topics As Motivation To Develop A Methodology That Uses Hidden Markow Models (HMMs) To Handle The Following:
1_ Protein Family Modelling.
2- Gene Finding (Or Prediction).
3- Protein 3D Structure Prediction.
4- Gene Classification.
