Abstract This investiagation aimed to; distinguish the heterogenous and homogenous isolates. Determine the different mating types and iduce mutation by acriflavine in Ustilago maydis. Attempts also were made in order to develop the parasexual cycle by crossing between the obtained biochemical mutants and to carry out some genetical analysis.
