Abstract Philanthus have been studied extensively by various workers. In Egypt it was studied in the New Valley as a predator of honeybee colonies However much work was carried out covers biology, ecology and control methods. This work was done to continue finding any possible changes and other methods to eliminate its hazards. Five sites were chosen for this work (El-Rashda, Bedkholo, El-Ewena, El-Masaara and El-Shekhwally)in Dakhla Oasis during two successive years 1991 and 1992. |
