Abstract The main aim of the present investigation was directed to assess family socio-economic characteristics and women’s participation and practices in two villages at Giza Governorate (Sekeel village and Mzghouna village). It was intended to find out the relationships between women’s characteristics and their participation and practices in different aspects i.e. (some economical activities, family and household responsibilities and mother hood and childhood). One hundered subjects were selected from each village, randomly chosen from the visit registers of the Maternal and Child Health center. |
