Abstract ABSTRACT This study was carried out to study the consequences of hypercholesterolemic diet on some biological and biochemical parameters and also to study the effect of adding some fat and water soluble vitamins single and combination of them on hypercholesterolemic experimental animals. The experiment was carried on (63) albino rats, which divided into (9) groups, one group was kept on the normal basal diet thorough out the experimental period (6 weeks) and referred to as negative control. The other 8 groups were supplemented with hypercholesterolemic diet. One group of them kept as control while the other groups were treated with the following vitamins (vit A, vit, D, vit, E, vitB1, vit B6, vit B12 and mixed vitamins). The rats were sacrificed after 6 weeks. |
